Chicago Bandits Add New Team Member With Official Team Puppy
ROSEMONT, Ill. – The Chicago Bandits have come to terms on a lifelong contract with Bandit Miller Skirha, our new official team puppy!
Bandit was adopted this week by Bandits AGM Jourdan Skirha from Rescue Warriors in Elgin, IL, and will be the official dog of the Chicago Bandits. The 10-week-old hound mix will be at every Bandits game during the 2020 season, giving fans the chance to meet and play with him all season long.
Acting on their mental health initiatives from last season through their partnership with To Write Love On Her Arms, the Bandits plan to enroll Bandit in the training necessary to certify him as a licensed therapy dog.
“I am more than ecstatic about having Bandit join our team,” Bandit’s mother and Chicago Bandits AGM Jourdan Skirha said. “Our entire front office feels that he is already part of the family. We can’t wait to see him chasing down balls during batting practice.”
Bandit will be filling out our team as official ball boy, tug-of-war champion, team cuddle specialist and Assistant to the Assistant GM. Bandits fans can find him hanging out in our front office or attached at the hip to any Bandits Front Office staff member. He will be available for meet-and-greets at every game played at Parkway Bank Sports Complex during the 2020 NPF season.
You can find Bandit dashing around the ballpark, and on his Instagram account @Bandit__Miller.
