National Pro Fastpitch Adds New Balance as Official Supplier

NASHVILLE, Tenn. National Pro Fastpitch added New Balance to its corral of Official Suppliers, the league office announced Wednesday.

New Balance enters the Official Supplier pool for the first time in company history in the category of training shoes, tennis shoes, molded cleats, metal spikes and coaches attire. The relationship makes New Balance products available to the league’s roster of elite domestic and international players and coaches, and allows the New Balance brand and branded products to have an on-field presence throughout the regular season and Championship Series.

“NPF is very pleased to add the high quality shoe and apparel brand of New Balance to our Official Suppler roster in 2018,” NPF commissioner Cheri Kempf said. “I look forward to seeing New Balance in action on the world’s best players beginning with the 2018 season.”

The league opened May 19 with opening day action taking place between the host Aussie Spirit and the Beijing Shougang Eagles. The NPF’s regular season will include 120 total games and a best-of-five Championship Series. The regular season concludes Aug. 12 and the NPF Championship Series will be held Aug. 16-20 at Parkway Bank Sports Complex in Rosemont.

Every game will be livestreamed on various platforms throughout the season, including NPFTV. The league celebrates its 15th anniversary with the 2018 season.
